The Perfectionist in Me

I’ve been working on my 4th assignment at ICL (The Institute of Children’s Literature) for months now. I’m taking the advanced course on writing children’s books. The assignment was due before Christmas and I’m still revising it. I’ll think it’s ready to send off and then I’ll see a sentence (or two –or three) that could be worded better. This battle goes back and forth every time I pick up the manuscript. My goal for today: Get that assignment out there! Will I reach that goal today?
