BIO: Jennifer Gladen is a children’s author who lives and writes in Pennsylvania. She is the author of A Star in the Night,Teresa’s Shadow, and Angel Donor through Guardian Angel Publishing. She contributes as a columnist at Catholic Mom and is a member of the Catholic Writers Guild (C.W.G.) and the S.C.B.W.I. She has written several children’s stories, poems and articles, and started her own Catholic e-zine.
She graduated from a Catholic high school and went on to a Catholic college. She earned a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and taught for a few years before having three children.
When her second child was born, Jennifer put her teaching career on hold. Her newborn was diagnosed with a rare liver disease which would require a liver transplant in the future. (Her book, Angel Donor, is inspired by her daughter) A few years later she had a son, who was born with chronic kidney problems. Now, in addition to writing, she is back working as a teacher.
